It is important that customers and future customers know where their food comes from and which crop protection products are used in the production of fruit and vegetables. In order to handle the health of our customers, our employees and our environment as responsibly as possible, SPIRITS GRUN2 N.V uses as much as possible only plant protection products that are permitted in organic horticulture. These products are indicated in the OMRI product list.
Omri stands for 'Organic Materials Review Institute' and is an American non-profit organization that determines which products are allowed for use in organic cultivation. When certifying the various crop protection products, OMRI uses the organic standards (National Organic Standards) as prescribed by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture, or freely translated the Department of Agriculture in the United States of America).
